IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series

The first national event for IHRA was held at Darana Motorsports Park in Benson North Carolina. Nostalgia Drag World was on hand to join in the festivities and to cover the IHRA debut of the popular Nostalgia Pro Stocks. 

Teams from both the Southeast Nostalgia Pro Stock Association and the Midwest Pro Stock Association once again joined forces to put on a spectacular show. Half-track burnouts, dry hops and side by side gear banging action keep the crowd on their feet. Popular names from the past like Bob Glidden, Orndorff and Eckman, Frank laconio and Rick Jones were all represented over the packed event. The guys made 4 runs which were televised on IHRA TV. 

By all accounts the Nostalgia Pro Stockers did an outstanding job. We think the dry hops put the icing on the cake. The Southeast Nostalgia Pro Stock Association and Midwest Pro Stock Association as well as Nostalgia Drag world would like to thank IHRA and the entire staff of Darana Motorsports Park for inviting us to participate in this outstanding event.
