Blue Suede Cruise 2025

The Bader family tradition of successful events at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH continued with the running of the 24th annual PRW Power Blue Suede Cruise presented by Cometic Gaskets. In lieu of the NDRL not attending this year, Bill Bader created the Inaugural Gasser Invitational. 24 gassers from across the country were invited and put on quite a show.

Shane Lile from Mount Washington, KY moved down the field to win a Wally. Shane defeated Kim Brush from Amherstburg, ON in the final. Also on hand doing exhibition runs was the Cosmic Ray Corvette Gasser of Scott Leber, the man behind the ScottRods AA/Gassers. A full field of cars from the show area were allowed to make “fun runs” down the quarter mile. A few showers interrupted the festivities which caused a cancellation of the music portion of the show but did allow the signature Bader Family Firework to go off as planned.

Be sure to attend next year’s Blue Suede Cruise, as there are plans to have 48 gassers in the Invitational!
