2025 IHRA Nitro Series West Salem

Dragway 42, now called Darana Dragway-West Salem was host to the 4th of 5 IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series events this year. Plenty of action from 19 classes of racers brought in the fans. Sportsman classes were run on Day2 with the professional classes highlighted on the next two days. The four day event was rained out on day one, but the weather cooperated for the next 3 days to keep the action going. Special guests attending were Big Daddy Don Garlits and Shirley Muldowney, chatting with and signing autographs for the spectators.


The event was well run and had only a few on track incidents. The IHRA put on a great show and hopefully they will return next year so check their website for a schedule update and be sure to attend if you're in Northeast Ohio.
