The John Denbrock Story
By Rodney Knock
John Denbrock’s need for speed came early on. At the tender age of only 7 John began by helping his neighbor, Tim Arnold who owned and raced a twin engine top fuel dragster. Since then, John has driven just about anything that you could stuff an internal combustion engine into. Some of John’s past rides include a Buell S2 Thunderbolt, a Can Am Shadow, several Circle cars, an awesome Lola T492, and a whole slew of Drag cars. He also tried racing on the water piloting a 510 cid Big Block Chevy Sunkist Tunnel Hull boat! Along with his driving duties, John has served as Crew Chief and Crew Member on a wide variety of SCCA road race cars. His extensive amount of time behind the wheel is a big plus when attempting to sort out tuning issues.
