Cordova Summer Nationals

This year's Summer Nationals at Cordova Dragway featured everything a drag racing fan could hope for and then some.

From JR dragsters the smiles on some of those kids faces were priceless to the no box and box classes that featured all types of cool looking hot rods. There were Gassers, Victory Super Stocks, Ozark Mountain Super Shifters that always put on a great show along with the Midwest Pro Stock Association with their long smokey burnouts and side by side racing.

Chris and Tera Graves brought in their Funny Car Chaos show and with it being a points race this year they ended up qualifying 33 funny cars the most funny cars at one time on Cordova’s property in 40 years.

What a show they put on with long sometimes sideways burnouts, wheels up side by side racing and even a little nitro filled the air at times. How can we not forget the backup girls / guys. It's almost a show in itself-watching them!

Racers For Christ Scottie Wilson was also on hand to share God’s word in a Chapel service and with all the teams before their runs.
